Using the long edges of the Peltex/fast2fuse as a folding edge, turn the long edges of the base piece over the edges of the Peltex/fast2fuse, and press them to fuse. Do not fold the short ends of the base (these will go into the seams at the base of the side panels). If you’re using Peltex 71, add a narrow strip of fusible tape to hold the folded edges in place.
