Nunmehr vor allem - was die Feldlehre selbstverständ lich auch sah - die bedeutungsprägende Kraft des Dichters am dichterischen Wort betont wird. Es geht also nicht um Eliminierung des Feldzusammenhangs, sondern um den ZusätzlichenEinbezug der Bedeutungsschwankungen und -schat tierungen des einzelnen Wortes durch bestimmte Konnotationen und spezifische Sinnzusammenhänge, in die es vom Dichter gestellt wird. Diese neuere metho dische Einstellung läßt den Forschern stärker bewußt werden, daß der Gebrauch germanischer Wörter zur Wiedergabe christlicher Begriffe ein differenzierteres Problem ist, als es der älteren Forschung zuweilen erschien.
Und vier Sätze später : 'das reiten auf der eselin fehlt . ' Unmittelbar anschließend zitiert er einige Stellen aus Hrabanus Maurus.
