46 CHAPTER 2 DEVELOPING A POST-FALL RESCUE PLAN Worksite Considerations The first step in preparing for rescue is to define the area of responsibility that each plan will encompass. A given worksite may develop a single plan for a wide variation of needs, or separate plans for specific areas of need. This will be partially determined by worksite dimensions, although scope of work and other nearby hazards will also play a part in this determination.
