21 43 44 Global Warming Climate Uncertainties In the final analysis, most scientists remain very concerned about future global warming, but a lack of knowledge and understanding of the many complex and interdependent climate processes continues to hinder efforts to definitively predict the degree of warming we might expect. As a result, the IPCC projects that by 2030, malnutrition will rise dramatically, and that by 2080, 200 million to 600 million people could go hungry.
