The transference is clearly exhibited and acknowledged. Later, further acknowledgement of relationship was possible when Dr Y moved on after six months. Lena spontaneously made a picture on which she wrote ‘Thank you Dr Y’. She placed this too, on the ward in a prominent position, where he and everyone else would be able to see it.
